Overview

Brake caliper assembly includes service caliper assembly and safety caliper assembly.

The service caliper assembly, also known as the open tong assembly, is a normally open structure, which is composed of normally open single acting oil cylinder, return spring, open tong arm, lever mechanism and disc brake pad. Safety caliper assembly, also known as closed tong assembly, is a normally closed structure, which is composed of normally closed single acting oil cylinder, closed tong arm, lever mechanism and disc brake pad.
